Vachel Lindsay

Brought singing poetry to popularity — he traipsed America championing villagism. Vachel was contemporary of Frost, at the dawn of recording technology, where spoken word albums were just as prevalent as music LPs. Robert frost continued to make spoken word albums until the 1950s, long after Vachel commited suicide with his wife Elizabeth Conner.
